12. The Incredible Hulk: Bruce Can't Have Sex
The second, largely forgotten MCU film is a perfectly decent flick, but it does have one of the most misjudged moments in the franchise's history.
The film boasts yet another under-written superhero love story between Bruce Banner (Edward Norton) and Betty Ross (Liv Tyler); in one scene they are clearly about to sleep together but Bruce's heart monitor (which tells him when he might be about to transform) starts beeping and he has to stop, telling Betty he can't get too excited.
Basically, if he tries to have sex he'll turn into the Hulk.
This entire scene is just a complete fail. It's entirely pointless to the main story and even if it was intended for humor, it's uncomfortable and awkward instead of funny.
It's an example of a completely dire scene in an otherwise rock-solid movie, but looking on the bright side at least the MCU has never provided any more scenes like this since.
