16 Actors Confirmed For Star Wars Episode IX

16. Billy Dee Williams - Lando Calrissian

After months of "will he?/won't he?" in regards to joining the productions of Episode VII and VIII, Billy Dee Williams is reprising the iconic role of Lando Calrissian in Episode IX.

It'll be the first time he's played the character in a movie since 1983's Return of the Jedi, and though it's sad Harrison Ford is no longer on the cast to see the pair reunite, assumedly means Lando will have an important role to play in a leadership position of some sort.

Plus, if investigating the First Order's initial rise is a key part of the plot, Calrissian has likely seen the shift in the galaxy's power dynamics, being he's the Administrator/owner of Cloud City on Bespin.

Williams is reportedly training three times a week to get in shape for the role - something that should mean he returns in fine form.
