16 Actors Who Could Be The Breakout Stars Of 2018
Could Letitia Wright steal the show in Black Panther?
2017 has seen a number of on-the-rise actors get their much-celebrated Hollywood coming-out parties, with the likes of Logan's Dafne Keen, It's Bill SkarsgÄrd, Dunkirk's Fionn Whitehead and Star Wars: The Last Jedi's Kelly Marie Tran being among the year's biggest breakout stars.
It's always fun to look to the future and see which actors might become the stars of tomorrow, and with these 16 actors securing highly-coveted roles in massively high-profile upcoming films, it's safe to say that everyone could know their names by this time next year.
Talent can of course only take any actor so far, and true stardom is as much a lottery as it is anything else, but by being part of such promising projects, they're by far the most likely actors to become household names during 2018.
Some won't make it, sure, while others will quickly rise to become future Oscar nominees and reliable box office draws, but in each case, the path begins now...
16. Hannah John-Kamen
Hannah John-Kamen, who currently stars on Canadian sci-fi show Killjoys, is set to enjoy a major profile boost next year when she appears in three big-budget blockbusters in the space of just a few months.
First off, she'll show up in the Alicia Vikander-starring Tomb Raider reboot in an unspecified role, then she'll play F'Nale Zandor in Steven Spielberg's Ready Player One just a few weeks later, and in the summer, she'll appear as the villainous Ghost in Ant-Man and the Wasp.
Whether or not the films end up being good, Kamen's going to get her face seen by millions more people, and considering that she's both gorgeous and a talented actress, there's no way her agent's phone won't be blowing up with offers for even bigger and better things in the future.
