Phoebe Waller-Bridge landed on a lot of people's radars with her fantastic performance in last year's TV series Fleabag, which she also created and wrote.

Most of all, her work on the show caught the eye of Lucasfilm, who ended up hiring her to play a currently undisclosed character in Solo: A Star Wars Story. The role will apparently be "CGI-driven", so an alien or a robot, then?

Nothing makes an actor's career like appearing in a Star Wars movie: even a relatively small role gets you in front of hundreds of millions of people, and there's little doubt that Waller-Bridge will give a fantastic performance, whatever the nature of her role is.
