8. Javert's Suicide Has Haunted You Since 2012

It's a shame he was such a fanatic for the law because he could have been a decent guy; it's only when Jean Valjean shows him an act of true kindness that he becomes conflicted, and loses his faith in everything that he has done and stands for. This epiphany is sort of justified in a way but what isn't acceptable is the horrific sound effect in his suicide in the 2012 film production. There was no need for that extra crunch when he hit the river.
