6. Arnold Schwarzenegger - Twins
The less said about Arnie's extended flirtation with being a comedy actor the better, but it did inspire some rubber-necking moments of grim irresistibility, like the unforgettable sight of him giving birth in Junior, or this equally brilliant, and wonderfully touching moment shared with Twins co-star Danny DeVito in Twins.
5. Wesley Snipes - To Wong Foo...
Blade is about as cool a comic book movie character imaginable, even without the wayward third part to the trilogy and the even more wayward, and completely forgettable attempt to relaunch it on TV, and Wesley Snipes' raw magnetism and fearsome machismo made the role, as it had done for countless other menacing roles - including his iconic turn in Demolition Man. But by far the most fabulous, and oddly terrifying moment from Snipes' whole career comes in To Wong Foo..., when he plays one part of the most athletic looking troupe of drag queens ever, alongside dance veteran Patrick Swayze, and the clearly up for anything John Leguizamo.
4. Gene Hackman - The Birdcage
The man who played Lex Luthor, and made even the most macho of men purr in The French Connection was also once one of Hollywood's most famous, and oddly convincing (aside from the hulking American footballer frame) transvestite in the glorious The Birdcage remake.
