Upcoming actor Laurence Belcher landed a great double whammy with two of his earliest roles; an episode of Doctor Who and an X-Men film. At Christmas 2010, he appeared as the young Kazran Sardick in Doctor Who's timey-wimey take on A Christmas Carol, starring Michael Gambon as the older Scrooge-like Sardick. A few months later, in his very next job, Belcher appeared in prequel film X-Men: First Class, as a young Charles Xavier in a scene where the boy who will become Professor X first meets his adopted sister, the mutant Mystique. Understandably, the actor has had a hard time topping these two roles but he has since appeared in British TV series such as Silent Witness and Missing.
