17 Fake Working Titles That Were Given To Famous Movies

1. "Snakes On A Plane" - Snakes On A Plane

I know what you're thinking -- Snakes on a Plane is an unforgettable movie title. The reason it makes this list is because "Snakes on a Plane" was only intended to be a working title for this flick. New Line Cinema decided to change the title to "Pacific Air Flight 121," but star Samuel L. Jackson demanded that they keep the original title because the entire reason he had signed up to do the movie was because he had been attracted to it. While the title definitely contributed to Snakes on a Plane's massive pre-release buzz, that anticipation didn't translate to the expected blockbuster box office. Nonetheless, it's doubtful that the film would've done any better with that generic alternative title. Like this list? Let us know in the comments section below.
