As the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming confirmed, Spider-Man has been making new enemies. Thanks to him thwarting the weapons deal on the Staten Island ferry and throwing Mac Gargan into the New York Bay, he's ensured that Scorpion wants his blood.

The villain might not have got his hands on the alien-tech-inspired tail that Toomes and his gang had scavenged and developed for him, but now that they've come face to face in prison, it seems likely that Gargan will get his hands on it somehow. And also that he might squeeze information on Spider-Man's secret identity out of Toomes while they're imprisoned together.

If the model established by MCU films is anything to go by, he probably won't be the main villain in the sequel, though, but at least we'll get to see him play a big role in the film's first act. And if they do choose to focus on him fully, Mando is a hell of an actor and a great new addition to the MCU rogue's gallery.
