17 Moments That Will Define Upcoming MCU Movies

15. Resolving Daddy Issues - Avengers: Infinity War

The prospect of seeing new character dynamic emerging in Infinity War as new groups of characters come face to face is definitely one of the film's biggest selling points. After all, who doesn't want to see Doctor Strange and Tony Stark trading barbs or Rocket Raccoon and Hulk teaming up for a new bromance?

Easily the biggest meetings will see a reunion between Thanos and his "daughters", who fled his service after years of abuse and who are now determined to get revenge (particular Nebula who turned down the chance to join the Guardians to go and make him answer for his crimes).

Seeing how that meeting goes is a truly compelling thought - assuming it won't end after a few seconds with Thanos stomping his former favourites to dust, of course...

14. Into The Quantum Realm - Ant-Man & The Wasp

While there's another heist storyline in Ant-Man & The Wasp (in which the heist-pullers of the first movie end up being the targets of the second), the biggest plot-line relates to the expected rescue of Janet Van Dyne from the Quantum Realm.

Having been lost to the mysterious plane in the distant past, the hero - played by Michelle Pfeiffer in the sequel - was all-but-confirmed to be alive in the first movie thanks to her shadow appearing during the Quantum Realm sequence. And now that Hank Pym knows that it's possible to come back from the sub-atomic dimension, his plan is to send his newly developed sub-atomic vehicle in to rescue his wife - no doubt piloted by Ant-Man and The Wasp.

That means we're going to see some stunning effects as well as a way too belated riff on Inner Space. Now that's something to get hyped about.
