When Rey is with Han Solo, Chewie and Finn at pirate Maz Kanata's castle, she stumbles across Luke Skywalker's lightsaber, which had quite literally been calling out to her moments earlier. Upon touching the saber, though, she encounters a traumatic vision, including that iconic shot of what appears to be a cloaked Luke placing his hand on R2-D2 in the desert, as well as other trailer shots of Kylo Ren and his knights standing in the rain. Given how fans were probably already wondering when Mark Hamill was going to show up, for this, the only shot we presumed we'd seen of him to actually be in the movie, to be a throwaway dream shot is bizarre and surely divisive.
