It’s no secret that the folks over at Pixar are crazy about their Easter eggs and director Brad Bird’s two feature length films for Pixar – The Incredibles in 2004 and Ratatouille in 2007, which he also wrote the screenplay for – are no different.

In The Incredibles we see the patriarch of the superhero family Bob Parr (aka Mr Incredible) come up against French supervillain Bomb Voyage. He pops up again in Ratatouille not once, but twice – first as a mime artist in a scene in which Linguini and Collette are roller skating and later his name appears on the front page of a newspaper Collette is reading reviews from.

There’s a couple more cheeky nods to The Incredibles too in the form of a poster of Mr Incredible when Remy the rat is being chased by the evil Chef Skinner and Linguini’s boxer shorts which just so happen to have The Incredibles’ logo plastered all over them.
