18 Great Actors Totally Wasted In James Bond Movies

16. Julian Glover

Played: Aristotle Kristiatos in For Your Eyes Only.

For Your Eyes Only is an excellent Bond film and the second-best of the wildly inconsistent Roger Moore era - behind The Spy Who Loved Me - but the villain is pretty boring. Aristotle Kristiatos is just sort of... there. He doesn't really have any presence or menace to him.

Julian Glover is a very talented actor and casting him as a Bond villain was, on paper, a great idea. Unfortunately, the film completely failed to give him the compelling character he deserved and Glover does his best, but understandably failed to elevate this character much; he was fighting an uphill battle from the off, after all, since the script gives him precious little to do.
