18 Great Actors Totally Wasted In James Bond Movies

10. Monica Bellucci

Rami Malek No Time To Die
MGM/Columbia Pictures

Played: Lucia Sciarra in Spectre.

The casting of Monica Bellucci as a Bond Girl received a lot of attention since she was the oldest ever actress to play a Bond Girl at 51.

Still, while Bellucci is widely recognized as a sex symbol she is also a really, really good actress - for example, she's phenomenal in Gaspar Noe's Irreversible - and when her role turned out to be a nothing part, it was bitterly disappointing.

Bellucci has presence in her role as Lucia and did an OK job but it was, much like the aforementioned Strawberry Fields, a thankless part. All her character ultimately did was shag Bond and provide a bit of information that helped him in his search for Spectre. What a terrible waste.
