18 Hugely Unexpected Roles In Upcoming Movies

1. Tom Holland - Uncharted

The Role: A young version of iconic video game explorer Nathan Drake.

Why It's Unexpected: Firstly, it's pretty shocking that the long-gestating Uncharted adaptation is now going to be a pure prequel, and secondly, Tom Holland's voice and appearance aren't exactly dead ringers for Drake, so it's pretty weird casting.

Will It Work?: Holland is clearly a great talent, so it's easy to be cautiously optimistic regardless of how the script or direction turn out. It's a shame fans aren't getting a fully grown-up Drake, but this is a bold approach that could certainly pay off in the long run.
