18 Insanely Messed Up Movies You Might Not Be Able To Handle

6. The Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence

The House That Jack Built
Lionsgate

This one was previously banned in the UK and more than two minutes of footage had to be cut before the BBFC finally granted it an 18 certificate. The Human Centipede 2: Full Sequence is still banned in some places today, but wherever it's banned no-one's missing out on anything.

Full Sequence is a vile, nasty piece of trash without a shred of artistic integrity, decency or narrative heft. Essentially, a vulnerable, mentally ill man kidnaps 12 people and gathers them in a warehouse for an hour, then he does the centipede and massacres all of them in the final half-hour. That's pretty much it.

Still, this will succeed in its aim of disgusting everyone, since the many instances of rape, horribly gory violence and disgusting body horror will make even the hardest viewers feel pretty grim. The scene in which the main character, Martin (Laurence R. Harvey, who gives a better performance than the film deserved) mutilates the 12 victims and crudely staples them together is the worst bit, but the entire thing is repulsive.

If you do decide to watch this, make sure you eat before and not after, since this movie will put you off your food. Especially thanks to the scene where Martin injects the victims in the centipede with laxatives and they... well, you know.
