Film: 101 Dalmatians Just when Pongo and Perdy thought that they were all safe under their new disguise as black labradors, Cruella intervenes with a high speed car chase that probably inspired the likes of GTA. With all of the puppies watching in horror from the back of the moving van that she is gaining on them, she becomes reckless in her adamancy to destroy these meddlesome puppies and wear their fur for her pleasure. As if the idea of skinning these puppies for the sake of fashion wasn't bad enough, she's now elongating their ordeal by trying to knock the van over the edge of a cliff. In true British spirit the van driver makes a dig about 'crazy women drivers' who couldn't possibly drive in the snow without trying to take out half of the traffic. Of course, Cruella has a clear motive and it's only once she's crashed her own car by driving through the tree that you realise how crazy she is. That, and how much she hates those dogs. It's only when her angry attack makes a puppy falls out that it becomes clear that some of these puppies might not make the journey back home. The fact that Pongo saves him by the hair of his tail doesn't make this scene any more comforting.
