18 Things You Somehow Missed In Reservoir Dogs

1. Mr. White Sat Between Joe & Mr. Orange

Reservoir Dogs
Miramax

One of the biggest threads throughout the whole movie is that none of the six men are supposed to know each other. Joe gives them each an alias to ensure that no one need ever learn the names of their colleagues, though there were some familiarities.

Mr. White knew Joe, while Mr. Blonde was very close with both Joe and his son, Eddie. Even outside of this, there was a certain relationship that was sparked between Mr. White and Mr. Orange. So much so that the former defended the latter with his life.

When Joe rocked up at the warehouse, he was certain that Orange was the rat, and despite the previous relationship and respect between him and White, Larry stood between him and the man he was about to shoot.

This was telegraphed right at the very beginning of the movie, as when the men are sat around the table eating, Mr. White is situated right between Joe and Mr. Orange, just as he would stand between them right at the very end.
