18 Things You Somehow Missed In Reservoir Dogs

2. The Coloured Bottles

Though the clues to Mr. Orange’s real allegiance started as early as the opening scene in the diner, with the undercover cop staying quiet before he ratted out Mr. Pink to Joe for not tipping the waitress, they certainly didn’t end there.

After the opening credits, the movie kicked into overdrive, jumping forward to after the heist went wrong, with Mr. White driving a very bloody and very troubled Mr. Orange back to the warehouse. There they meet Mr. Pink who suggests there is a rat in the house.

White and Pink head into a different room to the screaming and panicking Orange and enter into a somewhat heated discussion over who it could be. Should they have just turned around and looked at the coloured bottles against the wall, they may well have been inspired to figure it out.

There were three colours, white, pink, and orange, exactly the same as the aliases of the men at the warehouse. On the left were the white and pink together, with a big gap between them and the orange on its own on the right. Clearly, Orange was different from the others, as a cop is from a criminal.
