Rotten Tomatoes score: 71% Jurassic World is a quiet little indie film that was only shown at a number of select theaters across the globe, managing to recuperate its budget in a respectful fashion that is rarely seen in todays world where movies that are not regarded as a blockbuster seem to flounder (despite everybody apparently craving something new over sequels to movies that were released over twenty years ago). Look, youve probably all seen Jurassic World but, just in case you havent, its the story of what happens when idiots run a zoo for dinosaurs and decide to make an even scarier, genetically modified dinosaur that ends up escaping, only to later be foiled by a woman who wears high heels in the jungle. Chris Pratt, everybodys choice for celebrity we want to have as a dad/brother, stars as Owen, a Navy Veteran who now resides at the park as a Velociraptor trainer (the quintessential dream job for anybody who was a child in the nineties). You should see this if: you desire to go back on a date with your old high-school flame and don't mind if she's wearing way too much makeup and is full of dull, idiotic characters and plot holes because A RAPTOR AND A T-REX PUNCH ON WITH A HYBRID OF A T-REX AND A RAPTOR.
