On Lost: Sanada turned up at the start of season six as Dogen, the leader of the Others' faction housed at the Temple. His death - and final appearance - in "Sundown" allowed the Man in Black to enter the Temple and wipe out all those who refused to join him.
In the MCU: In Avengers: Endgame, he had a small role as Yakuza boss Akihiko, who was hunted down by and squared off against Clint Barton after Barton - going by the name Ronin - took it upon himself to become a vigilante and kill criminals. After a short battle in Tokyo, Akihiko was killed by Barton.
