20 Action Movie Sequels Since 2000 That Don't Suck

With one of the worst theatrical openings ever, Machete Kills might seem a controversial choice, but how can you hate a movie where “Carlos Estevez” (sometimes known as Charlie Sheen) plays the President?

This time, Machete (Danny Trejo) is sent to eliminate a madman who may have a rocket pointed at Washington, which Robert Rodriguez uses as an excuse to indulge in the comic book shenanigans that are his trademark. Among the highlights: Sofia Vergara’s machine gun bra, Lady Gaga as a hitwoman and, best of all, loony Mel Gibson wielding a “not perfected yet” molecule blaster. 

The opening and closing moments promise a third instalment, Machete Kills Again....In Space, starring Justin Bieber, Leonardo DiCaprio (actor to be confirmed) and Lady Gaga. If everyone reading this buys Machete Kills on Blu-Ray, it might get made.
