2. Christoph Waltz
Age: 57Nationality: Austrian-GermanMost notable role: Landa (Inglourious Basterds) The oldest actor on this list, Christoph Waltz is a BAFTA, Golden Globe and Academy Award-winning actor probably most famous for his turns in Tarantino films Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained. This year saw him in the excellent Carnage, and the next couple of years look to propel him to even bigger heights. Waltz is set to star alongside Amy Adams in Big Eyes and Robert De Niro in Candy Store; he's also rumoured to be signed up for Triple Nine with Cate Blanchett. He's also going to appear in Horrible Bosses 2, in Muppets Most Wanted (with Ricky Gervais and Lady Gaga) and is apparently Johnny Depp's latest opposite in the next Pirates of the Carribbean film, though that might not be out until 2016. What's certain though is that Waltz is a name you'll be hearing a lot more of in the next 12 months, and that's not counting a possible appearance in Quentin Tarantino's next movie, Badlanders.
