20 Actors To Watch For In 2014

4. Robert Sheehan

robert sheehanAge: 25Nationality: IrishMost notable role: Nathan (Misfits) Another breakout E4 star, Robert Sheehan was the effervescent centre of Misfits's first couple of series, before leaving to pursue a bigger career. He's since appeared in both Killing Bono and The Borrowers (alongside comedy legend Victoria Wood and don't-call-me-the-Doctor Christopher Eccleston), but nothing has captivated an audience quite like his portrayal of super-powered Nathan Young. Hopefully though, 2014 will see Sheehan hit headlines again, as he appears in a few films; one of which, The Road Within, is apparently the story of a Tourettes sufferer taking his mother's ashes on a road trip. It would be nice to see him back on television again too, and though nothing's lined up thus far, he's still a promising actor with a big future ahead of him.

3. Luke Treadaway

Luke TreadawayAge: 29Nationality: EnglishMost notable role: Christopher (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time) The mesmerising focus of West End smash, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Luke Treadaway is already Olivier Award-winning; the show itself, has won seven. Hollywood beckons for Treadway, who's already appeared in Attack the Block, Clash of the Titans and Killing Bono, as next year will see him team up with Domhnall Gleeson and Garrett Hedlund for Angelina Jolie's Unbroken. And then there's the very real possibility of The Curious Incident... going to Broadway; a sequel was performed this year that featured Matt Smith as the Doctor, Andrew Scott as Moriarty and Helen Mirren as the Queen. The sky really is the limit for the show, and possibly Treadaway very soon.
