5. Kim Basinger - Regan MacNeil (The Exorcist)

Kim Basinger made her acting debut as Sheila in Night Train To Dallas, an episode of the action/adventure drama series Gemini Man that aired on NBC in 1976. However, three years earlier she came close to playing head spinning Regan in William Friedkin's classic, The Exorcist. While Linda Blair did an admirable job in the part it would have been interesting to see young Basinger spasming on her bed before she pleads with a room full of doctors to have sexual intercourse with her, vomiting (pea soup) in the face of a priest, while cursing like a sailor, masturbating with a crucifix before she shoves her mother€™s face into her bloody crotch.
