11. Jonathan Rhys Meyers
Henry VIII was known to his contemporaries as much for his musical abilities (he's often credited with composing Greensleeves) as he was for his fiery temper and frankly self-indulgent number of wives. So in a way, it's only fitting that Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who shot to international stardom by playing him in The Tudors, would also be musically talented. When he was nineteen, he got his first leading role as 70s rocker Brian Slade in Velvet Goldmine, a sadly underrated take on Citizen Kane which also serves as the only place you can see a young Rhys Meyers, Ewan McGregor, and Christian Bale all in the same movie. Preening and strutting his way through the Bowie-esque part, he is every inch the perfect image of glam rock. Unlike some of the other actors on this list, he has been featured singing in many of his films, including Elvis and August Rush.
