20 Actors Who Shocked Us With Their Singing Ability

10. Patrick Wilson

patrick wilson singing So while everyone was fawning over Gerard Butler's version of the masked stalker in Phantom of the Opera, Patrick Wilson was quietly killing it in the thankless role of Raoul. This might be the unpopular opinion, but give me sweet, stable Raoul over some guy who lives in a theater killing people any day of the week. Anyway, what I'm trying to say is that Patrick Wilson is awesome. Before he started working in film and television, he was a Broadway leading man, getting his first role in Miss Saigon in 1996. He's also starred in productions of The Fully Monty, Oklahoma, and sang at more benefits than you can shake a stick at. Side note: You don't know how close I was to adding the clip of Patrick Wilson doing the Full Monty at the Tonys. I decided not to because he only had one solo line in the song, but it's on Youtube. Seek and ye shall find.
