Harrison Ford and Steven Spielberg obviously have previous: the director helped cement the enthusiastic amateur pilot's Hollywood mythology by putting him in the lead of Indiana Jones (albeit after Tom Selleck was forced to drop out). And the pair could have come together again for the original Jurassic Park - not that Ford seemed to remember it that way.

During a Q&A session, Ford accused the director of never having offered him any more work than Indy, but Spielberg refused to accept it, stating instead that he had actually offered him the role of Dr Grant before it passed to Sam Neill.

For some reason, Ford chose not to take the role and lead yet another franchise. Instead he made The Fugitive and Clear And Present Danger, so you can't hold it against him too much.
