20 Actors You Didn't Know Almost Starred In Jurassic Park Movies

Despite long-running suggestions that Juliette Binoche simply turned down Steven Spielberg's offer for Jurassic Park at the beginning of her career because she didn't want to do it, the truth is that scheduling stopped the French star from saying yes.

"I had already said yes to [Three Colourd] Blue, with Kieslowski, and after that, Spielberg asked if would be in his film. So it's not that I refused to do Jurassic Park, but I was already on Blue."

Which is fair enough really: she's a great actress and she would have enriched the film with her presence, but it's hard to imagine she has any regrets over the decision. Blue was a career defining moment for her, and she is most proud of that work:

"Blue, acting-wise, I don't think I could do better. But each time I chose what I believed in and what I felt like doing, and there was no compromise in that way, so they were my choices - bad or wrong, good, bad or whatever, it is what it is."
