20 Actors You Never Knew Were In Star Wars

15. Daniel Craig - The Force Awakens

John Wayne Imperial Spy
Lucasfilm & MGM

Here's a cameo that basically everybody missed the first time, but when you know it's there, it's actually pretty easy to spot.

The incredibly conspicuous Daniel Craig was obviously never going to get a front-and-center, face-bearing cameo role in a Star Wars movie, but for The Force Awakens he was allowed to make a sneaky helmeted appearance as a First Order Stormtrooper.

But ingeniously, Craig isn't just some also-ran mook - he's the Stormtrooper who Rey (Daisy Ridley) flexes her Jedi mind trick powers on, convincing him to loosen her restraints, unlock the door, and drop his weapon.

The only tell that this is actually 007 himself is the fact we hear Craig's voice for a few lines as he calls Rey "scavenger scum" and dutifully complies with her commands.

It's one of the film's funniest moments, yet Craig's voice is filtered just enough that it's not immediately recognisable.
