13. The Slime On The Alien Eggs Drips Upwards - Alien
One of the weirder Easter eggs in the franchise again occurs when Kane is inspecting the facehugger eggs. Upon closer inspection, viewers might notice that the slime covering the eggs drips upwards rather than downwards as anyone with a basic knowledge of physics would expect. No, this isn't some complicated effect: Ridley Scott simply shot the egg upside down while it was hanging from the ceiling of the set, giving the whole scene an even more bizarre atmosphere. A very subtle little touch, but brilliantly effective if you do manage to notice it.
