Bottle Shock is a comedy-drama movie loosely depicting the events of the 1976 wine competition termed the "Judgment of Paris", when California wine surprisingly defeated French wine in a blind taste test, proving that French wine wasn't the be all and end all of the industry and that the French were beatable on that front. The poster is so simple but so very clever, as it depicts a bottle with wings (representing a bomber aircraft) dropping a series of smaller bottles (representing bombs) on Paris, as the two countries face each other in a very different kind of "war".
