The Plot: A pair of young metalheads accidentally summon a demon with magical sheet music, and with their bandmates and pals, must send the beast back from whence it came. Why It's Awesome: If you dig metal music, sexy ladies and gratuitous gore, Deathgasm is just the ticket for you. This low-budget Kiwi horror flick is a gleefully daft bloodbath, clipping along at a snappy pace while melding its supernatural madness with sharp satire of the metal subculture. The cast chemistry, between the bandmates in particular, is excellent, and the gore is terrifically inventive. Plus, if you've ever wanted to see two vibrators used as stabbing weapons, this'll be right up your street.
