17. Bradley Cooper's Cameo - 10 Cloverfield Lane

10 Cloverfield Lane opens with Michelle (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) hastily leaving home after an argument with her ex-fiancee Ben, who never physically appears in the movie.

However, Ben does call her shortly before her car accident, begging her to talk to him and return home, and the voice might seem a little familiar, because it's in fact that of multiple Oscar nominee Bradley Cooper.

Cooper apparently landed the part after the role was uncast, and producer J.J. Abrams reached out to his old friend for a favour. It's non-intrusive, but at the same time, once you notice it, you can't un-notice it.
