During Harley Quinn's (Margot Robbie) introduction at the beginning of the film, a blink-and-you'll-miss-it title card reveals that she had a hand in murdering Robin, noting her as an "accomplice to the murder of Robin."

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice already made it pretty damn clear that Robin was killed by The Joker (Jared Leto) some time ago, and now we know that Harley was involved too. Fingers crossed that Batman's upcoming solo movie might actually depict Robin's murder in its entirety, with Harley going full savage on the Boy Wonder.
