10. SNOOPER (A View To A Kill)
No, it's not K-9. It is, in fact, one of the most pointless gadgets on this list, but also one of the most fun. SNOOPER, Q's remote control surveillance robot, is only given a minute or so of screen time, but it's a good minute or so, and is a nice excuse to see Tanya Roberts in the shower (we'll pretend Roger Moore wasn't in that scene). SNOOPER is one of those fine examples of how ahead of its time the James Bond franchise has always been. A remote control camera may seem rather dull now, but gadgets like these were unwittingly laying the foundations for consumer items of the future. Consider SNOOPER to be the ancestor of that W-iFi quadrocopter 1080p drone helicopter thingy you got for Christmas.
