For reconnaissance of Blofeld's suspected hidden Japanese lair, a regular helicopter just wouldn't have cut it. Enter Q, this time wearing a rather fetching pair of khaki shorts. Packed into four suitcases and assembled before Bond's very eyes is 'Little Nellie', a heavily modified autogyro designed by ex-RAF Wing Commander Ken Wallis. It's light, nippy, and packs more punch than an aircraft twice its size. Admittedly, Bond does look a little comical squeezed into the little yellow cockpit with a cine camera strapped to his head, but the ensuing airborne chase sequence is exciting enough to make up for it.
