16. Bagpipe Machine Gun (Casino Royale)
No, not Daniel Craig's 2006 debut. Stepping out of the 'official' Bond canon for a moment finds us in 1967 with David Niven, Peter Sellers, Woody Allen, and Bond alumna Ursula Andress. It's certainly no masterpiece, but Casino Royale does have its memorable moments, not least of which is Vesper Lynd tearing into about a hundred men in kilts (one of them Sellers) with a set of bagpipes doubling as a machine gun. It's completely expected, completely silly, and all very good fun. As it would happen, this wouldn't be the last time a set of bagpipes would turn out to be more than they seem in a Bond film. In 1999, The World Is Not Enough saw a set concealing a flamethrower.
