7. Zep Hindle - Head Smashed (SAW)
Throughout most of the first film, Zep Hindle is portrayed as the Jigsaw killer. Not only does he take Lawrence Gordon's family captive and watch the doctor's game take place, but he's shown as being pretty sadistic and looks more than willing to kill off Adam and Gordon near the end of the film.
As Doctor Gordon's time runs out, Zep travels to the bathroom claiming that it is the 'rules' that is making him kill the doctor and revealing that he in fact isn't the Jigsaw killer. Pulling out a gun to the doctor, he is suddenly surprised attacked from behind by Adam has his head smashed in with a toilet lid.
Whilst it is technically an off-screen death, Adam's bone-chilling screams and the sickening, squashing sounds that come from Zep's head are truly a highlight. It's a pretty brutal kill, but it's also the death that leads up to one of the greatest twists in the entire history of film as we begin to realise Zep is just another pawn in Jigsaw's grand plan.
