20 Best Kills In Saw Movies

16. Anna - Shot (Jigsaw)

Anna seems like the prototypical heroine throughout most of Jigsaw: she's smart, brave and always seems to understand what is going on or asked of the group before anyone else does. It is only right at the very end of the film do we begin to understand that she isn't actually all that perfect.

After completing all of their games, Anna and Ryan are introduced to John Kramer who explains that the 'key to their freedom' is right in a shotgun shell he loads into a shotgun in the middle of the room. Thinking that she has worked out Jigsaw's final test for her and Ryan, she lunges for the shotgun Jigsaw has supplied them both and prepares to pull the trigger, believing it to be a test of which of the two of them is willing to kill to survive.

The reality, which dawns on Ryan just a little bit too late, is that Kramer literally meant that the keys to their shackles were in the shell he supplied. Ryan fails to warn Anna quick enough however and the shotgun ends up backfiring onto her. The shock factor alone is pretty great, but the shot of her bloodied face falling to the floor adds an extra dimension to the scene.
