20 Best & Worst Movies From 2015 Oscar Nominees

6. Marion Cotillard

Best: Rust And Bone (2012) This rough French drama is unlikely to be Cotillard's most notorious role - La Vie En Rose exists after all - but it is an incredible good distraction from more showy films (and the perfect antidote to some of Cotillard's bigger, sloppier roles). She plays a woman re-finding herself through a relationship with a teak-hard man of few words, and the way she re-blossoms is truly compelling. Worst: Nine (2009) Grand, insistent and vacuous, Nine is like a supermodel trying to make it as a pop star: arresting for a little while, but marked by the nagging suspicion that it's come dressed for the wrong party.
