20 Best & Worst Movies From 2015 Oscar Nominees

3. Reese Witherspoon

Best: Election (1999) If it wasn't for Mean Girls, Alexander Payne's biting high school comedy might have been remembered as the best nasty comedy set in a school. In honesty, the fact that Witherspoon's conniving Tracy tends to be behind the Plastics in the pecking order is a flat-out disgrace. Strangely, this was the film that apparently got him the Jurassic Park 3 writing gig. Worst: SFW (1994) Horribly self-important, self-satisfied and entirely misguided, So F*cking What might be the most apt film name ever. Also guilty of featuring the most off-putting lead character name in Stephen Dorff's Cliff Spab.
