20 Best & Worst Movies From 2015 Oscar Nominees

16. Patricia Arquette

Best: Boyhood (2014) True Romance and Ed Wood are both cult classics in their own right (and beloved mostly), but Boyhood is a success in a bubble for Arquette, whose recent CV has been mostly terrible (perhaps because she was just distracted?). Had the film not dazzled as many as it has, it would still have been worthy of praise as a feat, but in casting well, Linklater made an experiment worthwhile in purely entertainment terms. Worst: A Glimpse Inside The Mind Of Charles Swan III (2013) An advert for never working with Charlie Sheen ever; even when someone is trying to paint him as a self-aware post-modern genius. He's not.
