20 Best & Worst Movies From 2018 Oscar Nominees
11. Margot Robbie

Best: I, Tonya (2017)
While she won't win the Oscar, Margot Robbie's performance makes I, Tonya and she definitely performs more in the lead role than anyone else competing with her for the gold. She runs the full gamut of emotiona, from strength to vulnerability and she makes a real world figure who was conspicuously sort of sympathy both rounded and empathetic.
The real art is in her ability to balance that urge to root for her with the inherent awareness that she's still pretty repulsive, and it's great to see that she went for something so nuanced and complex rather than just repainting the tabloid monster.
Worst: The Legend Of Tarzan (2016)
She's actually done very little so far in her career and while Suicide Squad is near unwatchable, Robbie is actually pretty good as Harley Quinn. She's at least a lot more interesting than her turn as Jane in The Legend Of Tarzan, which was curiously hollow and boring and fundamentally misjudges what story it's supposed to be telling.
