Best: 101 Dalmations (1996)

Sure, the live action adaptation of the Disney animated classic could have been a lot better as a complete package and many people will probably be shocked not to see Fatal Attraction here, but Glenn Close's Cruella De Vil is a thing of beauty that transcends the material.

She is perfectly suited to the iconic villain role, delightfully cartoonish and infinitely watchable. In fact, she's about the only reason to give this movie a second glance rather than just turning back to the animated original.

Worst: Pinocchio (2002)

To be fair to Close, she only redubs a voice (of the Blue Fairy) in the English language version of Roberto Benigni's divisive take on the puppet story, but so mangled is the recut that it definitely ranks as the worst thing she's been involved in. And the original isn't much better either.
