Ben Affleck's Air is a mostly terrific movie that makes one truly bizarre creative decision - keeping Michael Jordan at the fringes of his own story.

Though he technically appears in the sports drama as played by Damian Young, we're never given a clear shot of his face and only occasionally hear him speak.

Affleck has rationalised this by claiming that Jordan is simply too "big" to be portrayed on screen, preferring for the audience to project their own mythic interpretation of the sports mega-star onto the few glimpses of him we get throughout the film.

All the same, it's arguably more of a distraction given how precisely the movie disguises his face here - especially during the pivotal meeting between Nike and the Jordans, where actor Young is somewhat awkwardly blocked throughout the scene to ensure his face isn't ever shown.
