4. Dumb & Dumber
The Original Line: Right on my *ss, after you kiss it.
The Ridiculous Redub... Watching that scene again now, it becomes even more ridiculous that the edit replaced the incriminating word in the original phrase with as harmless as substitute as "sandwich," given that Harry and Lloyd subsequently roll around the bed openly referring to their backsides. And why would anyone kiss a sandwich anyway?
3. Blade: Trinity
The Original Line: "...you c*ck-juggling thunderc*nt!"
Edited Version: ...you crock-juggling chunderbump!" Blade: Trinity should be wiped from the face of the comic book movie landscape - it was misguided, over-insistent and sloppy and it almost criminally reduced the key elements of the first two movies. But it did feature the glorious line above, and managed to be that rare case of a movie being enjoyable for only one half-line of dialogue. So it's a shame that a TV editor decided that the best way to make it TV appropriate was to give Ryan Reynolds' character an inexplicable, rare form of Tourettes that involved spewing nonsensical insults around. It's also a major shame that Ryan Reynolds was robbed of the line's delivery, since it is his delivery that makes the line so great, as much as the ridiculously over-cooked profanity of the phrase.
