An adaptation of Alan Moore’s graphic novel that pretty much threw away the source material in favour of car chases and explosions, LXG (as it was known) caused Moore, Sean Connery and director Stephen Norrington to rethink their Hollywood careers.

You can see why: neither exciting, funny or particularly memorable, it stacks up badly against the adaptations of From Hell, Watchmen and V For Vendetta.
