20 Coolest Tracking Shots In Movie History

19. Kill Bill Vol. 1

Love him or hate him (or sit somewhere in the middle, as I do), there's no denying that Tarantino knows how to pull out the stops when it comes to gorgeous camerawork. His latest, The Hateful Eight, might be his most restrained to date (in a good way), but for Kill Bill he wasn't afraid to pull out the big guns.

This great tracking shot following Uma Thurman's The Bride utilises some glorious swooping Dutch angles as it follows her around the restaurant. Once again Larry McConkey performed steadicam duties, with the shot reportedly taking 6 hours of rehearsal and 17 takes before they got it just right.
