20 Craziest Stunts In Movie History

17. Terry Leonard - Romancing The Stone

Romancing the Stone, directed by Robert Zemeckis and starring Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner, is far and away one of the better Raiders of the Lost Ark imitations to have emerged in the 1980s - trading Nazis for Colombian drug barons, it's as entertaining today as it was when it was originally released, largely thanks to the on-screen chemistry between Douglas and Turner. There's plenty of action throughout, and Zemeckis injects his trademark wit ensuring that it never feels stale, and while Michael Douglas never quite manages to pull of the action hero with quite the same panache as some of his contemporaries (maybe it's his voice), some of the stunts more than make up for it, particularly the impressive sequence in which a beat up old car tumbles over a waterfall as its occupants leap alongside it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tTRvYLLFwYI
